How your information is handled

Last updated 15 October 2026

The short version: this website doesn't use cookies, doesn't track you, and doesn't store anything you type into it. If you send me a message, I use it only to reply to you and to do the work you ask for.

Who I am

Thalvon is a web design business run by Nico, based in Sotira, Cyprus. For anything about your information, email nico@thalvon.com.

The contact form

The form on this site doesn't send your details to a server. When you press send, it opens WhatsApp (or your email app) with your message written out, and you choose whether to send it. That message is then handled by WhatsApp or your email provider under their own privacy policies.

What I keep, and why

Messages and details you send me (name, business, phone, email, what you need), so I can reply and build your website.
If you become a client: the information needed to do the work and to invoice you. Invoices are kept as long as Cypriot tax law requires.

I don't sell or share your information, and I don't add you to mailing lists.

Hosting and technical data

This site is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes basic technical data, such as your IP address, to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. I may use Cloudflare's privacy-friendly visitor statistics, which use no cookies and don't identify you.

The example concept websites linked from the homepage load their fonts from Google Fonts, which means Google can see your IP address when you open them.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask me what information I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Just email nico@thalvon.com. If you're unhappy with how your information has been handled, you can complain to the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection in Cyprus (dataprotection.gov.cy).
